When flying in to the Raleigh, North Carolina area there are a few airports to consider. There are two larger airports; Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) in Morrisville and Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) located in Greensboro. There are also some smaller airports in Apex, Fuquay-Varina, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Piedmont Triad is part of a 3,000 acre campus that is home to more than 50 companies. These companies pour about $1 billion into the local community annually. Piedmont Triad Airport Authority owns and operates the airport so there are no local tax dollars used to operate the airport.
A variety of airlines serve the PITA providing frequent direct and connecting flights to popular destinations.
